BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, APRIL 9
Theft, 10:23 p.m.
Stolen change from unlocked vehicle on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Unable to locate female suspect.
Suspicious, 9:40 p.m.
Security check for a business on the 700 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Located fallen screen from window. Business was secure.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 8:52 p.m.
Officer responded to the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW for a vehicle complaint. The subject vehicle was located. The out-of-town elderly driver stated she had been trying to find her hotel. No actions taken.
Suspicious, 8:26 p.m.
Officer responded to the report of suspicious activity at a closed business on the 1300 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Officer spoke to two subjects who stated they only stopped near the business to smoke a cigarette. no criminal activity observed.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 6:02 p.m.
Complaint of vehicle swerving in a parking lot on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Driver was distracted while talking on speakerphone. Driver put phone down before driving away.
Theft, 2:56 p.m.
Theft from vehicle report on the 1400 block of Bixby Ave. NE. Multiple items stolen from vehicle.
Assault, 2:40 p.m.
One arrested on 22nd St. and Park Ave. NW.
Assault, 1:59 a.m.
Assault downtown after bar close on the 300 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Pursuit, 12:32 a.m.
Officers assisted the Minnesota State Patrol in a pursuit on 28th St. and Delton Ave. NW.
SATURDAY, APRIL 8
Disorderly Conduct, 11:57 p.m.
Citation issued for noisy party/disorderly house on the 600 block of Patriot Dr. NW.
Traffic Stop, 11:55 p.m.
Traffic stop on 9th St. and Mississippi Ave. NW. Driver cited and two arrested for warrants.
Suspicious, 6:37 p.m.
Report of fireworks being thrown from a car on Bemidji Ave. and Anne St. NW. Suspects stopped and cited.
FRIDAY, APRIL 7
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 5:37 p.m.
Report of a road rage incident on Irvine Ave. and Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Medical, 11:01 a.m.
Officers assisted EMS with a subject who had fallen and could not get up.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SUNDAY, APRIL 9
Public Relations, 10:30 p.m.
Deputy received information pertaining to a vehicle involved in a pursuit earlier that morning on Irvine Ave. NW in Puposky.
Welfare Check, 6:21 p.m.
Welfare check requested on juveniles traveling with rough-looking adults on the 8000 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Unable to locate.
DWI, 4:45 p.m.
Adult arrested for DWI, warrant, and driver’s license status offense on 21st St. NW.
Animal, 3:45 p.m.
Deputy came across a cow in the middle of the road on Cardinal Rd. and Grange Rd. NW. Made contact with owner and had animal removed from road.
Medical, 10:34 a.m.
Deputy response to a possible overdose on Archery Rd. NW. Male left prior to arrival, deputies made contact with male on foot and had him checked out by EMS.
SATURDAY, APRIL 8
Assist, 7:34 p.m.
Motorist assist on Highway 71 NE in Tenstrike. Driver arrested for DUI.
Traffic Stop, 3:03 a.m.
Traffic stop on Tyler Ave. and 23rd St. SE. Female driver arrested for outstanding warrant and DWI.
FRIDAY, APRIL 7
Traffic Stop, 8:26 p.m.
Traffic stop on Roosevelt Rd. and Miles Ave. SE. Male driver arrested for Cass County warrant and DAC-IPS.
Traffic Stop, 4:13 p.m.
Stop for expired registration on the 2000 block of Division St. W. One arrested for DWI.
Traffic Stop, 3:57 p.m.
Adult arrested for warrants on Roosevelt Rd. and Grant Ave. SE.
