BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, JUNE 13
Suspicious, 11:04 p.m.
Officer observed male with an outstanding warrant on 6th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. One male arrested.
Burglary, 8:57 p.m.
Officer responded to a burglary on the 1200 block of 1st St. E. Charges of third-degree burglary were referred.
Accident, 3:12 a.m.
Officer responded to a hit and run on the 600 block of America Ave. NW. Case information was provided to the complainant.
SATURDAY, JUNE 12
Burglary, 11:48 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary on the 1900 block of Middle School Dr. NW. Four juveniles were placed under arrest.
Fire, 10:29 p.m.
Responded to disorderly house/fire call. Two adults cited on the 1100 block of Park Ave. NW.
Burglary, 11:24 a.m.
Theft of packages from front porch on the 900 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.
Fire, 9:11 a.m.
Assisted with traffic control on Highway 2 and Division St. W.
FRIDAY, JUNE 11
Disturbing the Peace, 11:59 p.m.
Individual warned for being loud while working on a vehicle in the parking lot, disturbing their neighbors on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S.
Assault, 11:50 p.m.
Adult male arrested for domestic assault on 30th St. NW.
Suspicious, 8:42 p.m.
Caller reported that her friend told her she had a marijuana plant growing in her garden on the 700 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Officer checked on plant at caller’s request and determined the plant to not be marijuana.
Theft, 7:37 a.m.
Theft of catalytic converter on the 700 block of Washington Ave. S.
Burglary, 7:09 a.m.
Reported on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
THURSDAY, JUNE 10
Welfare Check, 9:39 p.m.
Subject left the hospital that had been civilly committed. Located downtown at a bar and returned to the hospital.
DWI, 9:06 p.m.
Traffic stop on reckless vehicle on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver arrested for DWI.
Medical, 7:48 p.m.
Officers responded to a possible overdose on the 1200 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. One arrested.
Property, 1:29 p.m.
Stolen vehicle recovered on 3rd St. and Beltrami Ave. NW.
Suspicious, 11:24 a.m.
Suspicious smell reported on the 400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Discovered to be garbage.
Theft, 9:02 a.m.
A theft was reported on the 300 block of 10th St. NW. One arrested.
Fire, 2:01 a.m.
Fire in dumpster on the 2500 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. Extinguished by Bemidji Fire.
Warrant, 1:54 a.m.
Adult male placed under arrest for outstanding warrant on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
Fire, 12:39 a.m.
Officers assisted the Bemidji Fire Department with a vehicle fire on the 5100 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

SUNDAY, JUNE 13
Fire, 9:01 p.m.
Report of an unattended brush fire on the 500 block of Rolling Hills Dr. NW. Was found to be a small attended campfire.
911, 8:52 p.m.
Report of screaming in the woods on the 18000 block of Grange Rd. NW in Puposky. Unfounded.
Boat, 3:57 p.m.
Four individuals rescued from the water on Lake Bemidji near the state park.
Traffic Stop, 9:54 a.m.
Traffic stop on 5th St. and Bemidji Ave. N. Driver arrested for a canceled license.
SATURDAY, JUNE 12
Agency Assist, 11:48 p.m.
Deputies assisted BPD with arresting juveniles that burglarized Bemidji Middle School.
Traffic Stop, 8:51 p.m.
Citation issued and driver arrested on a warrant on the 2700 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE.
Fire, 5:01 p.m.
Campfire that spread to some nearby woods on the 14600 block of Anjonabe Ct. SE. Deputies assisted with contacting the owners of the property.
Warrant, 4:47 p.m.
A male was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Bagley.
Accident, 1:49 a.m.
Report of a one-vehicle rollover involving an intoxicated male driver on Cormant Rd.a nd Corral Rd. NE in Kelliher. Under investigation.
Property Damage, 12:04 a.m.
Deputies responded to a mailbox damaged by fireworks on the 5700 block of Nature Rd. NW.
FRIDAY, JUNE 11
Assist, 9:18 p.m.
Assisted Red Lake Tribal police with the pursuit of a stolen vehicle on Highway 1 and Cozzi Farm Rd. NE in Kelliher. Handled by Red Lake Tribal Police. One arrested.
Fire, 9:07 p.m.
Report of a large fire on the 35500 block of Corral Rd. NE in Kelliher. Landowner had a valid permit and was monitoring fire.
Dead Body, 8:02 p.m.
Medical of a 25-year-old male not breathing in Bemidji. Male pronounced dead on scene.
Assist, 2:29 a.m.
Traffic stop on Highway 2 and Grace Lake Rd. SE. Three occupants arrested for drug charges and drug DWI.
THURSDAY, JUNE 10
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:43 p.m.
Driving complaint on Bemidji Rd. and Island View Dr. NE in Turtle River. Male arrested for DWI.
Fire, 6:31 p.m.
Grass fire on the 5000 block of Allens Bay Dr. SE in Cass Lake. Assigned to clear.
Welfare Check, 2:38 p.m.
Adult male arrested on a warrant on Highway 89 and Grange Rd. NW. Also arrested for threats of violence and indecent exposure.
Warrant, 1:59 p.m.
Adult male arrested on a warrant by Leech Lake Tribal police on the 19700 block of Plantation Rd. SE in Cass Lake.
Accident, 12:53 p.m.
One vehicle crash on Highway 1 and Highway 89 in Red Lake. The lone occupant was killed in the crash.
Burglary, 11:30 a.m.
Deputies investigated a burglary on the 9600 block of Spencer Rd. NW. A vehicle was signed as stolen.
Traffic Stop, 10:17 a.m.
One arrested for probable cause on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Theft, 8:10 a.m.
Stolen vehicle report on the 200 block of Spirit Ave. NE in Wilton.
Warrant, 2:35 a.m.
Traffic stop on Irvine Ave. and Nebish Rd. NE in Puposky. Male driver fled in the vehicle, then on foot. He was arrested for fleeing, DWI, fifth-degree drug possession, and obstructing legal process.
