BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

MONDAY, JUNE 27

SWAT, 11:40 p.m.

Responded to the 27500 block of Chippewa Paws Ln. SE in Pennington.

Suspicious, 8:42 p.m.

Officer checked on male playing in the dirt on Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Officer advised him to leave the area.

Accident, 3:56 p.m.

Road rage incident on Bemidji Ave. and Paul Bunyan Dr. NW resulted in a traffic crash.

Assist, 11:19 a.m.

Agency assist on the 2500 block of Middle School Dr. NW. Officer stood by while another agency took a male party into custody for an out-of-county crime.

Property, 4:35 a.m.

Adult male placed under arrest for multiple offenses upon officers locating a stolen vehicle on the 100 block of Convenience Ln. SW.

Security Check, 1:33 a.m.

Extra patrol on the 200 block of 6th St. NW. Three removed.

DWI, 12:01 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of a wrong-way driver on Washington Ave. S. and Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Adult male placed under arrest for DWI.

SUNDAY, JUNE 26

Welfare Check, 9:17 p.m.

Officer responded to the report of an unknown four-year-old child at the caller’s residence on Irvine Ave. NW. The child was returned to his mother.

Suspicious, 8:55 p.m.

Fireworks left in a park on the 1700 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. Fireworks disposed of.

Suspicious, 6:25 p.m.

Report of an assault on Birchmont Dr. NE.

Traffic Stop, 6:02 p.m.

Traffic stop on Park Ave. and 21st St. NW. One arrested for DWI.

Missing Person, 5:35 a.m.

Boyfriend wanted to report girlfriend missing as she didn’t answer her phone. She was located after turning on her phone.

Disorderly Conduct, 2:28 a.m.

Fireworks complaint on the 500 block of 14th St. NW.

Traffic Stop, 1:39 a.m.

Traffic stop on Norton Ave. and 15th St. NW. One arrested for DWI.

Disorderly Conduct, 1:12 a.m.

Fireworks complaint on Beltrami Ave. NW. Unable to locate/gone on arrival.

SATURDAY, JUNE 25

DWI, 11:29 p.m.

Traffic stop on Highway 2 and Adams Ave. NW. Driver arrested.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:36 p.m.

Firework complaint on the 1100 block of Event Center Dr. NE. Officers searched the area and did not observe further criminal activity.

Theft, 7:53 p.m.

Officer took a stolen vehicle report on the 1400 block of Bixby Ave. NE.

Assist, 6:45 p.m.

Ex-girlfriend reported that her ex-boyfriend is likely driving drunk often. Information shared at shift meeting.

Welfare Check, 5:18 p.m.

Assisted with child locked in car on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

DWI, 3:43 a.m.

Traffic stop on Irvine Ave. and 25th St. NW. Driver arrested.

DWI, 1:35 a.m.

Reckless vehicle complaint on Bemidji Ave. and 8th St. NE. Driver arrested for DWI.

FRIDAY, JUNE 24

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 11:02 p.m.

Report of a manhole cover askew on Beltrami Ave. and 14th St. NW. Cover un-a-skewed.

DWI, 9:40 p.m.

Officers responded to a vehicle complaint on Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. The juvenile driver was placed under arrest.

Assist, 6:28 p.m.

Officer assisted state patrol with a traffic stop on Highway 2 NE. Driver arrested for DWI.

Disorderly Conduct, 1:59 p.m.

Reporting party would like the city to write a letter to several residents in her neighborhood on Birchmont Dr. NE, telling them not to shoot off fireworks this year.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MONDAY, JUNE 27

SWAT, 11:40 p.m.

Responded to the 27400 block of Chippewa Paws Ln. SE in Pennington.

Weapons Offenses, 10:56 p.m.

Call of a domestic assault involving a firearm on Chippewa Paws Ln. SE in Pennington. One male and one female arrested.

Assault, 9:28 p.m.

One female arrested for second-degree assault on Augusta Dr. NE.

Fire, 6:51 a.m.

Deputies advised of a possible structure fire on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW.

SUNDAY, JUNE 26

Burglary, 10:40 a.m.

Deputies advised of a burglary on the 20900 block of Lookout Tower Rd. NE in Hines.

Assault, 1:40 a.m.

Deputies responded to a possible domestic assault in Kelliher.

SATURDAY, JUNE 25

ATV, 8:45 p.m.

UTV seized as possible stolen property at the 3300 block of Windy Hills Ln. SW.

Theft, 4:16 p.m.

Deputy received a theft report of two boats taken from the 2500 block of Buchanan Ave. SW approximately four weeks ago.

FRIDAY, JUNE 24

Disorderly Conduct, 11:21 p.m.

Check on person yelling on the 4800 block of Birdsview Ln. NW. Everything OK.

Assault, 10:59 p.m.

Male party arrested for domestic assault on Birdsview Ln. NW.

Traffic Stop, 10:30 p.m.

Traffic stop for speed on gull Lake Loop Rd. and Black Lake Rd. NE. Male arrested for DWI.

Assault, 10:10 p.m.

Probable cause to arrest issued for one male in Cass Lake.

Suspicious, 6:22 p.m.

Deputy responded to a suspicious male, possibly linking himself to a previous crime in the area on the 800 block of Grant Lake Ln. SW in Wilton.

Animal, 1:43 p.m.

Neighbor’s unwanted bull in caller’s corral on Sunset Meadows Rd. SW. Advised civil.

Disorderly Conduct, 1:05 a.m.

Intoxicated female upset with husband’s infidelity issues in Cass Lake.
