BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, JUNE 27

Fire, 4:29 p.m.

Reported on the 300 block of 19th St. NE.

Fire, 1:40 p.m.

Fire caused by fireworks on the 1900 block of Minnesota Ct. NW.

DWI, 1:26 p.m.

Reckless vehicle complaint on Roosevelt Rd. and Little Norway Ave. SE. One arrested for DWI.

Weapons Offense, 12:04 p.m.

Anonymous complaint of a male with brass knuckles on the 2600 block of Delton Ave. NW. Unable to locate.

Theft, 9:04 a.m.

Theft of a purse from a vehicle reported on the 600 block of 24th St. NW.

SATURDAY, JUNE 26

Warrant, 9:52 p.m.

Adult male arrested for fleeing a peace officer on foot and for an outstanding warrant on the 2700 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Accident, 5:33 p.m.

An officer took a report of a hit and run on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Accident, 12:28 p.m.

Three-vehicle accident on the 300 block of Bemidji Ave. N.

Ordinance Violations, 11:23 a.m.

Officer checked on two RVs that appeared to have been set up for an overnight stay at Bemidji City Park. The vehicles were unoccupied. Officer left a card and a note. Officer checked early the next morning and both RVs were gone.

Disorderly Conduct, 10:49 a.m.

Report of unclothed subject on a balcony on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Gone prior to officer arrival.

Drugs, 10:50 a.m.

Complaint of marijuana odor from an apartment on the 900 block of Carter Circle SE. Officer spoke with renter who denied being home.

DWI, 4:32 a.m.

Numerous individuals placed under arrest for multiple violations on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S.

Sex Crimes, 2:25 a.m.

One arrested on the 100 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE.

Sex Crimes, 1:49 a.m.

One arrested on the 100 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE.

Sex Crimes, 1:41 a.m.

One arrested on the 100 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE.

Sex Crimes, 12:18 a.m.

One arrested on the 100 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE.

Fire, 12:17 a.m.

Officer responded to a residential fire alarm on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. Dryer overheated.

FRIDAY, JUNE 25

Theft, 10:51 p.m.

An officer took a stolen vehicle report on the 1500 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

Warrant, 9:07 p.m.

Adult male arrested for an outstanding warrant and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Sex Crimes, 5:04 p.m.

One arrested on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.

Sex Crimes, 4:56 p.m.

One arrested on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.

Weapons Offenses, 10:00 a.m.

Single report of possible gunshot on the 1300 block of Exchange Ave. SE. Nothing located in area.

Animal, 9:24 a.m.

Report of cougar downtown on the 100 block of 1st St. W. Unable to locate.

DWI, 3:44 a.m.

Report of vehicle in the ditch on 15th St. and Middle School Dr. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.

THURSDAY, JUNE 24

Fire, 9:59 p.m.

Officers responded to a bonfire on the 500 block of Lincoln Ave. SE. The Bemidji Fire Department arrived and the fire was put out by the renters.

Disorderly Conduct, 7:26 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of two individuals digging in a dumpster on the 800 block of 15th St. NW. One female arrested on outstanding warrant.

Theft, 1:48 p.m.

Theft from vehicle reported on the 1400 block of Bixby Ave. NE.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SUNDAY, JUNE 27

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 3:53 p.m.

Complaint of kids lying in the roadway on Carr Lake Rd. SW. Father arrived at same time as deputy, father will handle the situation. One female cited.

Fire, 1:55 p.m.

Report of a tractor on fire in the roadway north of Kelliher on Lone Pine Rd. and Maple View Rd. NE. No injuries.

Agency Assist, 1:26 p.m.

Assisted BPD with DWI arrest on Roosevelt Rd. and Little Norway Ave. SE.

SATURDAY, JUNE 26

Assist, 12:20 p.m.

Vehicle stopped partially in the roadway on Black Lake Rd. NE in Tenstrike. occupants were looking for wild strawberries and did not require assistance. The vehicle was moved out of the roadway.

FRIDAY, JUNE 25

Burglary, 3:19 p.m.

Report of an outbuilding burglarized at a hunting camp on the 26800 block of Thorhult Rd. NW in Grygla.

DWI, 3:49 a.m.

One male and one female were arrested during a traffic stop on Roosevelt Rd. and Grant Ave. SE.

THURSDAY, JUNE 24

Suspicious, 7:19 p.m.

Suspicious vehicle reported on Lomen Ave. and Old Jefferson Dr. NW in Solway. Was found to be an artist painting the landscape.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 5:31 p.m.

Male party arrested for DWI on Highway 2 in Solway.

Suspicious, 8:15 a.m.

Parties collecting wood on Little Norway Ave. SE.

Pursuit, 6:11 a.m.

Deputy pursued a male on a bicycle on Cass River Rd. Se in Pennington. Male arrested for fleeing not in a vehicle and felony warrant.
