The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, June 3, through Sunday, June 5.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, JUNE 5
Property Damage, 8:41 p.m.
Officer took the report of slanderous graffiti on the 1600 block of 5th St. NE.
Welfare Check, 2:29 p.m.
Officer checked on children reported to be making loud noises on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. They were found to be playing and in good health.
Medical, 12:40 p.m.
Officers assisted the Bemidji Fire Department and Bemidji Ambulance Service with a medical call reported as a possible overdose on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. No overdose was present.
Warrant, 3:28 a.m.
Warrant arrest on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Welfare Check, 3:09 a.m.
Single caller reported a female yelling and swinging glass at people in the hallway of an apartment building on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the described female.
DWI, 12:11 a.m.
Adult female arrested for DWI on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.
SATURDAY, JUNE 4
Welfare Check, 11:17 p.m.
Welfare check on an individual screaming near a park on the 800 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Unable to locate suspect.
Warrant, 11:17 p.m.
Adult male arrested on a confirmed Hennepin County warrant on the 400 block of 4th St. SE. No new charges.
Disorderly Conduct, 8:10 p.m.
Officer responded to a report of someone shooting a gun on the 1200 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Drugs, 7:33 p.m.
Caller reported people using drugs in hallway of apartment building on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Two cited for possession of hypodermic needles.
Suspicious, 1:21 p.m.
Officer took a report of beans thrown at a residence on the 500 block of 28th St. NW.
Theft, 12:40 p.m.
Report of theft from a vehicle on the 1200 block of 30th St. NW.
Suspicious, 9:35 a.m.
Officer took another report of a residence having chili beans thrown at it on the 500 block of 27th St. NW.
Suspicious, 8:57 a.m.
Officer took a report of a house that had chili beans thrown at it on the 600 block of Miles Ave. SE.
Assault, 7:08 a.m.
Report of two stabbing victims at the ER on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW. Later learned stabbing occurred in the county and case was referred to Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office.
Medical, 12:11 a.m.
Opioid overdose on the 400 block of 4th St. SE. Officers provided Narcan and revived the victim.
FRIDAY, JUNE 3
Burglary, 10:52 p.m.
Officer took a report of a past burglary on the 2600 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
DWI, 10:00 p.m.
Adult male arrested for DWI on Paul Bunyan Dr. and 3rd St. SE.
Robbery, 9:34 p.m.
Eight-year-old had his bike taken by force by two teens on the 300 block of Bemidji Ave. N.
Disorderly Conduct, 7:27 p.m.
Several people fighting inside store on the 500 block of Anne St. NW.
Found, 7:13 p.m.
Report of a found gun on the 500 block of Mississippi Ave. NW. Gun was a toy gun and disposed of.
Theft, 2:06 p.m.
Report of theft on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Multiple citations issued, two arrested.
Burglary, 7:39 a.m.
Officer took a burglary report on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.

Male arrested for domestic assault on N. Country Cir. NE.
Civil, 8:34 p.m.
Civil dispute over a lawnmower on the 7100 block of Balsam Rd. NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 8:13 p.m.
Driving complaint on Birchmont Beach Rd. and Preston Ln. NE. Female driver arrested for drug DWI and possession of a controlled substance. A male passenger was cited for an open alcohol container.
Security Check, 6:24 p.m.
Checking on squatters on the 2900 block of Wilton Hill Rd. NW. Adult female arrested on a warrant.
Burglary, 11:11 a.m.
Burglary reported on Silver Maple Rd. NW in Puposky.
Disorderly Conduct, 9:27 a.m.
Verbal disagreement with water getting thrown on the 48900 block of Jones Townhall Rd. NW in Solway.
Theft, 5:38 a.m.
Stolen road sign on E. Grace Lake Rd. and Summerset Ln. SE.
Suspicious, 3:47 a.m.
Suspicious vehicle on Hubbard County 36. One arrested.

Driver asleep at the wheel parked at the gas pump on the 100 block of Convenience Ln. SW. Female driver arrested for DWI and drug possession and a female passenger arrested for drug possession.

DWI, 8:11 p.m.
Traffic stop for missing headlight on the 13400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.
911, 1:39 p.m.
Cupholder once again called 911 in Waskish.
911, 12:28 p.m.
iPhone dialed 911 from camp chair drink holder on the 3400 block of State Park Rd. NE.
Burglary, 10:54 a.m.
Theft from unit at storage facility on the 25500 block of Highway 72 in Blackduck.
Assault, 10:32 a.m.
Deputies responded to two assault victims at Bemidji Sanford Emergency Room. One arrested on Roosevelt Rd. SE.
911, 10:11 a.m.
Accidental 911 call from a garage-saling child on Mill St. E.
Hazards (dangerous), 8:04 a.m.
Deputy checked on the report of a hazard in the water. The hazard was identified as a tree that had been cut down. The tree was lodged into the shore and no longer a hazard.
FRIDAY, JUNE 3
Suspicious, 12:34 p.m.
Stolen property located in Bemidji on the 2700 block of Norway Bluff Dr. SE. Property reportedly from a 2008 theft in the state of Arkansas.
Animal, 12:28 p.m.
Loose cows reportedly on Highway 1 NE in Northome. They had been moooooved back home upon arrival.
DWI, 12:56 a.m.
Traffic stop on 15th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. Adult female arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance.
