Officer responded to a suspicious person on Jefferson Ave. and Gregg Ct. NW. Charges forwarded for underage drinking and possession of tobacco by a minor.

Officers assisted Bemidji Fire Department with a fire on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.

Officers responded to a suspected drug overdose on the 1400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. One arrested.

Theft, 3:24 p.m.
Shoplifting complaint on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Male was arrested for DWI.
Assault, 12:15 p.m.
Officers responded to an assault complaint on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.
Warrant, 1:24 a.m.
Adult male arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW.
DWI, 12:04 a.m.
Traffic stop on 30th St. and Ridgeway Ave. NW. Driver arrested for DWI, passenger arrested on a warrant. Charges pending for possession of a controlled substance.
FRIDAY, JULY 24

Officers responded to a report of reckless driving on the 6300 block of Bemdiji Ave. N. One arrested for DWI.
DWI, 9:32 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI and 5th degree possession of a controlled sdubstance.
Property Damage, 12:47 p.m.
House egged overnight on the 400 block of Lincoln Ave. SE. There are no suspects.
Assault, 7:40 a.m.
Subject assaulted ER staff on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW.
THURSDAY, JULY 23
Disturbing the Peace, 11:53 p.m.
Individual playing basketball alone after he got off work was educated on park hours on the 1100 block of Mississippi Ave. NW.
Weapons Offenses, 10:41 p.m.
Report of single gunshot in the area of the 3900 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Officers determined that it was fireworks being launched in the area.
Assault, 9:40 p.m.
Report of a fight in progress on the 1400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Parties separated and issued citations.
Burglary, 7:30 p.m.
Officer responded to a burglary on the 3700 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.
DWI, 4:53 p.m.
Officers responded to a medical on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. One arrested for DWI.
Assist, 4:19 p.m.
Officer assisted with a child locked in a vehicle on the 700 block of 19th St. NW. Child was safely removed without incident.
Medical, 3:01 p.m.
Adult male suffered an overdose on the 400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE and was transported to the Sanford ER.
Assist, 2:18 p.m.
An officer assisted another agency with a recovered stolen vehicle on the 700 block of Mahnomen Dr. SE.
Medical, 1:18 p.m.
Report of a knife wound on the 2000 block of 25th St. NW. Determined to be accidental.
Theft, 9:04 a.m.
Vehicle reported stolen on the 2700 block of Bemidji Ave. N.
Suspicious, 8:11 a.m.
Report of suspicious male walking through yards on Bixby Ave. and 15th St. NE. Found to be MN energy meter reader.
Theft, 7:39 a.m.
Theft from vehicle reported on the 800 block of 3rd ST. SE.
Theft, 6:05 a.m.
Stolen dirt bike from a residence on the 1300 block of America Ave. NW.
Welfare Check, 4:36 a.m.
Individual was hitchhiking and advised to stay off the highway on Highway 71 and Anne St. NW.

SUNDAY, JULY 26
Traffic Stop, 11:07 p.m.
Traffic stop on Highway 2 and Division St. W. Both occupants arrested for drug charges, drug DWI and warrants.
Suspicious, 8:04 p.m.
Suspicious tools left in the woods on the 112900 block of Wildwood Rd. NE.
Traffic Stop, 7:22 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 400 block of 3rd St. SW in Wilton. Driver arrested for DWI/Drug possession and the passenger was arrested for warrants and false name.
Animal, 3:10 p.m.
Deputy answered questions regarding an injured duck on the 7200 block of Birchmont Ct. NE.
Theft, 1:21 p.m.
Deputy took a report of a stolen kayak on the 5100 block of Island View Dr. NE.
Welfare Check, 12:38 p.m.
Deputy responded to a child locked in a vehicle on the 4800 block of Grange Rd. NW. Child was out of the vehicle prior to deputy’s arrival.
Theft, 12:26 p.m.
Report of a stolen dirt bike taken from yard overnight on the 27000 block of Rockstead Dr. NE in Blackduck.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 11:18 a.m.
Report of a road improperly cordoned off on Cadbary Ln. and Prince of Peace Ln. SE in Cass Lake. Determined to be a tribal court matter.
Agency Assist, 8:52 a.m.
Deputies assisted BPD with located a motorcycle that was possibly involved in a motorcycle accident that had just occurred. Deputy located motorcycle and a pursuit ensued. Driver was arrested on multiple charges on Bemidji Ave N.
Fraud, 7:31 a.m.
Report of money borrowed to online boyfriend which has not been repaid. Caller was advised this was likely a scam.
Welfare heck, 1:18 a.m.
Welfare check on Buck Lake Rd. SE. One male arrested.
SATURDAY, JULY 25
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 9:32 p.m.
Report of a vehicle in the ditch on S. Movil Lake Rd. NW and Irvine Ave. NW. Male arrested for DWI.
Traffic Stop, 8:23 p.m.
Traffic stop on Little Norway Ave. and Roosevelt Rd. SE. Driver arrested for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.
Suspicious, 5:32 p.m.
Report of suspicious vehicle and person at caller’s residence. Deputy located suspect vehicle. Subject ended up being a U.S. Postal Office worker who spoke minimal English. All was okay on the 18300 block of Ploium Rd. NW in Solway.
Disorderly Conduct, 2:13 p.m.
Fireworks complaint on the 200 block of Spirit Ave. NW in Wilton. Deputy met with subject. No more fireworks were left. Warning issued.

Harassment, 8:14 p.m.
Neighbor upset with her and gave her the finger, assist and advise.
Burglary, 6:33 p.m.
Residential burglary on the 6400 block of Wildrose Ln. NW.
Theft, 3:17 p.m.
Report of stolen fishing equipment on the 600 block of Old Willow Ct. NW.
Warrant, 1:18 p.m.
Subject arrested for a warrant on the 13600 block of Coyote Rd. NW.
ATV, 6:56 a.m.
Report of an adult male with severe injuries in an ATV crash last night on the 800 block of Vista Forest Rd. NE. Located by a citizen this morning. Air ambulance to Fargo.
THURSDAY, JULY 23

Family dog bit child on the 2300 block of Francis Ct. SE.
DWI, 6:05 p.m.
Report of fleeing shoplifter leaving in a vehicle on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Vehicle located, driver arrested for DWI.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 5:48 p.m.
On scene with BPD for stolen car recovery on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.
Civil, 4:19 p.m.
Report of an owner refusing to remove a vehicle that has been in caller’s yard for the past five years on the 11300 block of Birchmont Beach Rd. NE. Caller asked if she could arrange for a private tow. Deputy advised.
Assist, 3:30 p.m.
Assist agency possible criminal sexual conduct that occurred in Hubbard County. Case initially handled by BPD. A female party was later arrested for her active felony warrants.
Warrant, 12:07 p.m.
Deputy picked up the subject of a Beltrami County Warrant in Cass Lake.
