SUNDAY, AUG. 28
Welfare Check, 11:26 p.m.
Officers responded to an emotional person at a local hotel on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Situation resolved before officers arrived.
Suspicious, 9:36 p.m.
Officer responded to a report of unknown persons pounding on windows outside an apartment building on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Upon completing a thorough check of the area, no signs of distress or suspicious activity was observed.
Burglary, 8:37 p.m.
An officer responded to a burglary attempt on the 3200 block of Cedar Ln. NW.
Warrant, 8:33 p.m.
Adult male arrested on gross misdemeanor warrant without incident on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Transported to the Beltrami County Jail.
Disturbing the Peace, 8:16 p.m.
Caller reported kid being loud in hallway of apartment building on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Kids left prior to officer arrival.
Disorderly Conduct, 4:23 p.m.
Officer responded toa report of kids throwing rocks at cars on Pershing Ave. and Roosevelt Rd. SE. Upon arrival to the area, the juveniles were gone on arrival/unable to be located.
Assault, 4:31 a.m.
Adult female arrested for second-degree assault on the 800 block of America Ave. NW.
DWI, 2:21 a.m.
Traffic stop for failure to maintain a single lane of travel on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Highway 2 SE. Driver arrested for DWI.
SATURDAY, AUG. 27
Disturbing the Peace, 10:28 p.m.
Officers responded to a loud party on the 1600 block of Bixby Ave. NE. Two cited.
Disturbing the Peace, 10:26 p.m.
Loud party complaint on the 1400 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Extremely loud music playing and approx 10-15 people in backyard on arrival. Verbal warning for noisy party.
Accident, 7:41 p.m.
Hit and run complaint on the 3400 block of Laurel Dr. NW.
Animal, 1:06 p.m.
Received a call of an eagle on a pole on the 1800 block of 30th St. NW.
Accident, 11:59 a.m.
Two-vehicle accident on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Suspect vehicle left scene without exchanging information.
Assault, 12:14 a.m.
Report of a male brandishing a knife at a bar on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW. Charges referred to city attorney.
FRIDAY, AUG. 26
Traffic Stop, 8:50 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW for multiple infractions. Two arrested.
Suspicious, 6:18 p.m.
Officers received call about possible gunshots near a local cemetery on the 1800 block of America Ct. NW. No evidence of shots were located.
Accident, 5:32 p.m.
Three-vehicle crash on the 6600 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Possible injuries.
Missing Person, 5:09 p.m.
Caller reported missing three-year-old child on Ridgeway Ave. NW. Child found hiding under bed inside residence.
Theft, 4:43 p.m.
Two stolen bikes reported on the 200 block of 4th St. NW.
Animal, 2:01 p.m.
Officers responded to a Bear in the City call on Roosevelt Rd. and Miles Ave. SE. Upon arrival, the bear had left.
Welfare Check, 1:55 p.m.
Intoxicated male in a vehicle on the 2200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Complaint was unfounded, male did not have paint cans (huffing) and was fully clothed.
Family Matter, non criminal, 1:07 p.m.
Verbal argument about a haircut on Hannah Ave. NW.

Female wanted to voice displeasure about a parking warning on Birchmont Dr. NE.
DWI, 2:32 a.m.
Traffic stop on Irvine Ave. and 28th St. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.

Report of an assault with a knife in Bemidji. Female transported to Sanford Bemidji for mental health evaluation.
Disorderly Conduct, 6:19 p.m.
Remove one on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW. Male arrested for local warrant.
Warrant, 4:18 p.m.
Female arrested for out-of-county warrant on the 17600 block of Lookout Tower Rd. NE in Hines.
Traffic Stop, 1:30 p.m.
Traffic stop for speed on Boot Lake Rd. and Becida Rd. SW. Driver was an emergency worker responding to an emergency page. Verbal warning issued.
Burglary, 10:31 a.m.
Deputy investigated the burglary of a business on the 5100 block of Theater Ln. NW.
Warrant, 3:20 a.m.
Local warrant transferred from Cass County.

Female arrested in Cass County transported to Beltrami County Jail for warrants.
DWI, 9:52 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 14400 block of Puposky Rd. NW. Adult female arrested on multiple charges.
Weapons Offenses, 6:15 p.m.
Report of people shooting guns in city limits on the 100 block of Main Ave. NW in Turtle River. Shooting did not appear to be in city limits.
DWI, 6:31 a.m.
Vehicle in ditch on Highway 2 and Animal Land Dr. SE. One arrested by state patrol.

Deputy received report of a civil dispute over solar panel purchase on N Blackduck Lake Rd. NE in Hines.

Structure fire reported on the 21800 block of Stray Horse Rd. NW in Puposky.
Warrant, 10:27 a.m.
Gross misdemeanor warrant located by Leech Lake PD on Highway 2. One arrested.
