The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Thursday, Sept. 2, to Monday, Sept. 6.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

MONDAY, SEPT. 6

Robbery, 7:49 p.m.

Robbery complaint on the 400 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Ongoing investigation.

Welfare Check, 3:05 p.m.

Report of possible overdose on the 1200 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Unable to locate victim.

Assault, 2:11 a.m.

Adult male placed under arrest for multiple offenses on the 2500 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 5

Theft, 5:20 p.m.

Theft from a motor vehicle on the 2100 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 5:12 p.m.

Officer searched the area for a reckless vehicle on 5th St. and Gould Ave. NE. Officer unable to locate. One ultimately arrested.

Disturbing the Peace, 3:33 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of yelling coming from an apartment on the 2500 block of Phoenix Loop NW. It was determined to be kids who were not quite ready to go to bed.

Weapons Offenses, 2:56 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of possible gun shots on the 1600 block of Irvine Ave. NW. The report was determined to be unfounded.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 4

Hazards (dangerous), 11:42 p.m.

Fire hazard violation on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Suspicious, 10:52 p.m.

Officer spoke with an adult female and advised her of cemetery hours on Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Harassment, 3:32 p.m.

Subject reported observing his mother-in-law in his vicinity on the 300 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. He was advised to consider a harassment restraining order. Closed.

Ordinance Violations, 2:37 p.m.

An officer observed a fire code violation on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

DWI, 1:48 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Adult female arrested for DWI.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 3

Theft, 3:40 p.m.

Report of possible stolen copper on the 2000 block of Fern St. NW.

Assist, 3:33 p.m.

Adult male picked up on probation A&D hold per request of his probation officer on the 900 block of 26th St. NW. Subject tested 0.258% BAC and was transported to jail with no issues.

Property Damage, 2:04 p.m.

Probation issues, property damage. One arrested on the 100 block of Roman Dr. NW.

Burglary, 9:36 a.m.

Burglary of an outbuilding on the 700 block of Railroad St. SE.

Agency Assist, 4:40 a.m.

Officers assisted BCSO with a DWI and crash investigation on Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 2

DWI, 11:58 p.m.

Traffic stop on Ridgeway Ave. and Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Adult male placed under arrest for DWI.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MONDAY, SEPT. 6

Hazards (dangerous), 10:45 p.m.

Beltrami Electric responded to Spy Ln. and Highway 89 NW for a powerline obstruction. Deputy assisted with locating obstruction.

Fire, 9:06 p.m.

Report of a large fire on the 28300 block of Acme Ln. NE in Pennington. One female arrested for multiple offenses.

Trespass, 10:27 a.m.

Adult arrested for a warrant on the 2200 block of Francis Ct. SE.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 5

Agency Assist, 5:12 p.m.

Deputies assisted with DWI stop and arrest by MSP on 5th St. and Gould Ave. NE.

Weapons Offenses, 3:25 p.m.

Death investigation on the 11300 block of Chokecherry Dr. NE.

Weapons Offenses, 1:21 p.m.

Subject target practicing behind his residence on the 10000 block of Beverly Dr. NW.

Property Damage, 8:27 a.m.

Report of firearm damage to a mailbox on the 23400 block of Everts Rd. NE in Tenstrike.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 4

Weapons Offenses, 8:36 p.m.

Deputy responded to the area of Grange Rd. and Cardinal Rd. NW. Did not observe any suspicious activity or signs of distress.

Burglary, 7:36 p.m.

Cabin entered on the 22100 block of Kuha Rd. NE. Firearm and ammunition stolen.

Welfare Check, 9:30 a.m.

Adult arrested for warrants on Glidden Rd. and Bemidji Ave. N.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 3

Weapons Offenses, 11:15 p.m.

Report of people shooting guns with suspicious activity on the 10900 block of Lumberjack Rd. NW in Puposky. One male arrested for DWI.

Boat, 12:54 p.m.

Theft from pontoon reported on Lake Bemidji.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 4:40 a.m.

Reckless vehicle on Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.

Sex Crimes, 2:21 a.m.

Male arrested for criminal sexual conduct in Cass Lake.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 2

Property Damage, 11:36 p.m.

Intoxicated men left the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW on foot.

Weapons Offenses, 7:17 p.m.

Patrolled the area of the 1100 block of Miles Ave. SE. Unable to locate.

Assault, 2:46 a.m.

Male party arrested for domestic assault and an outstanding Hubbard County warrant on Muninn Ln. NW.
