BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Monday, sept. 7

Property, 11:33 p.m.

Stolen vehicle recovered on the 800 block of 26th St. NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 6:58 p.m.

Request to remove an unwelcome female from a residence on the 1300 block of 3rd St. SE. Subject was removed without incident. One arrested.

Theft, 12:57 p.m.

Vehicle theft reported on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.

Theft, 10:17 a.m.

Report of a stolen vehicle on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 6

Assist, 10:49 p.m.

Officers assisted State Patrol on a traffic stop on 18th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Female arrested for DWI.

Assault, 7:44 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of an assault on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 4:47 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a reckless vehicle on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Bemidji Ave. N. One arrested for DWI.

Agency Assist, 3:29 p.m.

Assist Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office with reported robbery/carjacking on the 8000 block of Irvine Ave. NW. One male arrested for outstanding warrant.

Weapons Offenses, 2:50 p.m.

Burglary of a residence on 18th St. and Delton Ave. NW. Firearms stolen, suspect shot at caller. One arrested.

Theft 2:40 p.m.

Officers took a report of a burglary on the 600 block of 21st St. NW.

Suspicious, 1:19 a.m.

Oficer observed individual riding skateboard down the middle of the road on the 300 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Individual refused to provide name. One juvenile arrested.

Suspicious, 12:39 a.m.

Report of suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway on the 1100 block of 1st St. E. Officers arrested a male on several charges.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 5

Disturbing the Peace, 6:47 p.m.

Officers responded to a noise complaint on the 1100 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. One arrested for DWI.

Accident, 1:00 p.m.

Two vehicle crash on Hannah Ave. and Hiway Ave. NW. One driver fled from scene on foot. Child placed on hold for child endangerment.

Suspicious, 12:29 a.m.

Officers arrested a male for DWI and possession of a controlled substance, and a second male for warrants and possession of a controlled substance on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 4

Traffic Stop, 1:34 p.m.

Driver was placed under arrest for multiple violations on the 2400 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

Trespass, 11:49 a.m.

One arrested for trespass on the 400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE.

Assault, 6:44 a.m.

Subject arrested for domestic assault on Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Theft, 12:06 a.m.

Officers took a report of a vehicle theft on the 1800 block of Delton Ave. NW. Vehicle later located.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 3

Suspicious, 10:05 p.m.

Officer responded to a possible attempted burglary on the 3600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 6:55 p.m.

Officer responded to a removal on the 900 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Male was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Theft, 5:51 p.m.

Officer responded to a shoplifting complaint on the 2700 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Three arrested.

Theft, 1:56 p.m.

An officer responded to a shoplifting complaint on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.

Theft, 12:48 p.m.

An officer responded to a shoplifting complaint on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.

Theft, 11:05 a.m.

Stolen bicycle reported on the 1200 block of 34th St. NW.

Assault, 5:03 a.m.

Male arrested for kidnapping and domestic assault on Mississippi Ave. NW.

DWI, 1:02 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of possible gunshots on Beltrami Ave NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.

Monday, sept. 7

Suicide, 12:49 a.m.

Report of suicidal female, DUI arrest on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Carr Lake Rd. SE.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 6

Suspicious, 7:45 p.m.

Stolen UTV reported on Mayflower Rd. and Highway 89 NW.

Violations/Court Orders, 5:31 p.m.

One arrested in Cass Lake.

Suspicious, 3:29 p.m.

Report of a possible carjacking on the 8000 block of Irvine Ave. NW. One arrested.

Suspicious, 11:55 a.m.

Deputy responded to the report of a suspicious person on the 4700 block of Sosua Rd. NW. Person was found to be a census worker.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 5

Burglary, 8:15 p.m.

Suspicious activity reported on the 1500 block of Canopy Ln. SW.

Warrant, 1:34 p.m.

Deputy located the subject of an active warrant on the 5000 block of Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake. One arrested.

ATV, 9:15 a.m.

Stolen ATV reported on Knappen Hill and Gull Lake Loop Rd. NE.

Suspicious, 12:38 a.m.

Call handled by Leech Lake. One arrested on Scenic Highway and Cass Bluff Loop Rd. SE in Pennington.

Assist, 9:24 p.m.

Assist Cass County Sheriff’s Office with located a stolen vehicle resulting in a motor vehicle pursuit. Two adult males arrested for multiple offenses on the 600 block of Lyle Chisholm Dr. NW in Cass Lake.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 4

Burglary, 8:01 p.m.

Report of a burglary on the 5300 block of Sullivan Dr. NW that was determined to be damage caused by the family dog who had gotten out of its kennel.

Weapons Offenses, 4:34 p.m.

Deputies responded to the report of a stolen firearm on Pincherry Rd. NE.

Accident, 2:51 a.m.

Traffic crash on the 8000 block of Irvine Ave. NW. No apparent injuries, vehicle totaled, subject transported to ER via ambulance. Search warrant executed for legal blood draw.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 3

Burglary, 9:51 p.m.

Report of a burglary on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE. Unable to locate the reporting party at the residence of by phone. Crime victim’s card was left at the residence with the case number.

Suspicious, 4:57 p.m.

Report of suspicious signage at a residence on the 4300 block of Bluebill Ln. NE. Deputy responded and spoke to resident. The signs turned out to be Halloween signs. All was okay.

Assist, 11:51 a.m.

Probation officer requested the arrest of a probationer who was getting released from a treatment facility on the 4800 block of Stacy Ann Dr. NW. While en route, subject fled on foot and acquired a ride. Unable to locate.
