Bemidji’s bus driver shortage may lead to delayed routes

Bemidji School District’s transportation office is continuing to struggle to find enough drivers for all their bus routes.

Superintendent Tim Lutz says that due to short staffing, some adjustments may need to be made for routes in both the mornings and afternoons, which may in turn result in delays on a few routes.

Lutz says that if a bus route has to be delayed, families will be notified as soon as possible.

Parents and guardians are asked to monitor phone and email messages for any changes in the bus route schedules.
