Blackduck man injured in crash on Highway 71

A Blackduck man was injured after a crash on Highway 71 Friday afternoon.

The state patrol says one vehicle was attempting to turn left onto Big Buck Drive when another vehicle attempted to pass the first vehicle, with the two crashing at the intersection.

Fifty-one-year-old Torry Swedberg was transported to Sanford Bemidji for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was not injured. Blackduck Fire and Ambulance and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
