Two women were killed after a car crash on Thanksgiving Day in Crow Wing County.
The state patrol says a 19-year-old Katrina Lipp of Brainerd crossed the centerline in a Chevy Malibu and was struck by an oncoming Chevy Silverado.
The crash was around 6:20 p.m. on Highway 210 in Oak Lawn Township.
Lipp and her passenger, 21-year-old Tiffanie Rivera of Blackduck, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The state patrol says it is still “unknown” if alcohol was a factor in the crash, but did say Rivera was not wearing a seat belt.
The occupants of the Silverado, Robert and Jeanette Heggerston of Walnut Grove, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a nearby hospital.
