Bemidji State University Alumni Foundation’s “Build the Dam” challenge for the Day of Giving last week had 534 donors and raised over $119,000.
According to their update webpage, the goal was set at 500 donors.
The dollars are put toward various athletic programs and scholarships, with the Lakeside Fund receiving over $28,000; Men’s Hockey over $10,000; the soccer program receiving over $4,000; and women’s hockey over $3,300.
