BSU recognized as a bike-friendly university

Bemidji State University earned a bronze-level designation as a bicycle-friendly university from the League of American Bicyclists.

According to a release, the League represents cyclists in an effort to create safer roads and more bike-friendly communities.

BSU met standards on amenities such as bike racks, bike sharing, and having a cycling instructor.

The City of Bemidji was identified as bike-friendly as well, as did two businesses: Northern Cycle and True North Health Care.
