Cass Lake woman injured in alcohol-related crash

A Cass Lake woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 371.

The state patrol says 51-year-old Theresa Jourdain was northbound on the highway Thursday when she crossed over the centerline, entered the ditch, and struck several trees.

Jourdain is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, around 9 p.m. She was also not belted.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Leech Lake Tribal Police, Leech Lake Ambulance, and Cass Lake Fire Department assisted with this crash.
