CASS LAKE– The Cedar Lakes Casino-Hotel set a Guinness World Record for the largest frybread taco during their grand opening event last weekend.

According to reports, Guinness Book official adjudicator Mike Marcotte was on hand to witness, making it an official world record.

The frybread alone weighed in at over 150 pounds, with the taco toppings adding an additional 200 pounds.

The frybread was 8 feet in diameter, and the recipe was provided by Tana Robinson.

The cooker for the bread was made by Rick and Jeff Baird, the owners of Cass Metal Craft.

Over 500 guests attended the event, and Cedar Lakes plans to break another world record next year.
