CHATPOD: BPD Officer Rachel Kniss On The Return of A K-9 Officer To The City

The City of Bemidji is getting its first K-9 Officer since the 1990’s. Officer Rachel Kniss is heading up the initiative. She discusses the process of training, the costs and equipment needed and the work being done to raise the funds. Although it is not budgeted, Kniss feels the need is vital so is spearheading the effort to make it happen.

One event coming up next Monday (Jan 22) is a Bowlathon at Bemidji Bowl. Up to 6 bowlers can rent a lane for $200 and bowl for two solid hours. There are three sessions beginning at 3pm, 5:15pm and 7:30pm. Register HERE.
