Citizens invited to apply for a number of commission and board openings

The City of Bemidji is accepting applications for a number of its citizen commissions and boards. Some of these positions can be filled by non-city residents.

The Parks & Rec and Public Arts Commissions are both looking for one city resident member. The Library Board is looking for one member from outside the city limits.

The Housing Appeals Board is seeking one tenant member, the Heritage Preservation Commission is looking for three city residents, and the Deer Management Committee is looking for one Ward 4 resident and one Ward 5 resident.

Applications are available online and at City Hall.

Applications are also being accepted for the Bemidji Charter Commission until November 15.
