City offices closed Monday, Council meeting Tuesday

The Bemidji City Council meeting on Tuesday has a fairly light agenda. City offices will be closed Monday, and refuse service will pick up the next day.

The second reading and public hearing of an ordinance amending the city’s alcoholic beverages code is to update the city’s laws to align with the state’s “Free the Growler” act that allows breweries to sell cans on-site.

The council will consider an amended agreement between the City and VisitBemidji.

The council will consider a lease agreement and approve a bond sale to finance wastewater treatment plant improvements.
