Kilde appeared in court yesterday and bail without conditions has been set at $1 million.

A witness says Kilde stabbed Thompson after they got into a fight.

Deputies with the Clearwater and Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Offices responded to the scene July 31 to find Thompson with a stab wound to the chest.

Kilde will make his next court appearance in November.
