Construction on Highway 2 in Bena begins July 10

Construction on Highway 2 in Bena begins July 10.

Drivers will experience lane closures as crews plan to construct sidewalks, pedestrian crossing culvert replacements, curb and gutter as well as storm sewer.

The $3.4 million urban project will be constructed under traffic with a bypass lane.

Drivers will experience traffic delays.

Construction is expected to be complete in mid-October, weather permitting.
