As of Thursday afternoon, 338 active cases of COVID-19 were being monitored in Beltrami County.
In the last 14 days, 603 new cases were reported.
Fifteen Beltrami County residents are currently hospitalized for COVID-19.
On Thursday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported 4,827 new cases and 32 new deaths.
Of those new cases, 51 were in Beltrami County, 29 were in Cass County, 10 were in Clearwater County and 24 were in Hubbard County.
On Friday, MDH reported 5,162 new cases and 30 new deaths.
Of those new cases, 50 were in Beltrami County, 29 were in Cass County, 11 were in Clearwater County and 14 were in Hubbard County.
One of the deaths was a Beltrami County resident in their early 90s, and another was a Hubbard County resident in their early 90s.
Since the pandemic began, Beltrami County has had 7,824 cases and 92 deaths, Cass County has had 4,811 cases and 50 deaths, Clearwater County has had 1,512 cases and 20 deaths, and Hubbard County has had 3,392 cases and 48 deaths.
