The Beltrami County Historical Society’s final exhibit of 2022, “The Brave Die Never: Honoring Beltrami County Veterans,” is about to open.
On Thursday, Sept. 15, V.F.W. Auxiliary President Margaret Booge will present a program about the importance of the Auxiliary as part of the Brown Bag History Program.
This free program at noon has first-come, first-serve seating, and participants are welcome to bring their lunch and beverage; water and coffee will be avaialble.
At 6:00 p.m., Boy Scout Troop 25 will offer a flag ceremony to open the Veteran Exhibit.
The display will include uniforms, armaments, medals and other veteran and military-related artifacts, as well as images and documents of our veterans and their families.
The exhibit is included in museum admission and runs through Nov. 19.
The exhibit will be open until 7:30 p.m. Thursday for viewing.
