Region 2 Arts Council invites members of arts/culture organizations in Beltrami, Clearwater, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen and Hubbard counties to learn ways in which they can think about, and engage in, equity within their organizations, decision-making, and work.
The first workshop for Equity as Action is held online via Zoom April 22, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and offers a framework for thinking about, and doing, this work.
Workshop #1 can be taken alone, or as the first in a three-part series that focuses on basic skills to support actions that develop equity and inclusivity in your systems, structures and programming.
Organizations that attend the entire series will have the opportunity to receive a stipend to support their specific equity projects.
