The Sanford Center is excited to announce the inaugural charity boxing event, “Guns
and Hoses,” to be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023.
The fighters will be local and regional police, firefighters, and first responders.
The Sanford Center of Bemidji, Minnesota, is co-promoting a charity USA sanctioned
boxing event in conjunction with Bemidji Boxing.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Heroes Helping Heroes, a peer support group for first responders which provides support for all first responders, both active and retired.
“This is a fun event for a great cause. We’re happy to be working with Joe Lorenzi from
Bemidji Boxing to co-promote Guns N’ Hoses. We’re looking forward to seeing the local
and regional turnout for the event,” said Sheila Murphy, General Manager of The Sanford Center.
