Headwaters Music & Arts celebrates the talents of their music and art instructors during their annual instructor showcase set for 5 pm Saturday, February 12 at Headwaters (519 MN Ave NW, Bemidji).
Please join us to “give a little love” to our instructors as they perform songs about love, as well as, perhaps, the dark side of love. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, pink or black.
The informal music show features an awesome evening of blues, bluegrass, jazz, classical and contemporary music performed on electric and acoustic guitar, violin, cello, piano, clarinet, ukulele, percussion as well as vocals.
The event also celebrates the artists of Headwaters with a group art exhibit from instructors and volunteers on display along with raffle prizes, Tom Daly pottery for sale, and a Deuces Wild! Dueling Pianos tickets giveaway for their February 19 show at the Sanford Center.HeadwatersMusicAndArts.org}.
Admission is $10, $5 for ages 16 and younger, with all funds going toward the Headwaters scholarship fund. Doors open at 4:30, show starts at 5 pm.
