Headwaters Mini Musician program

September 20, 2021

No one is too young to appreciate music and movement. This 8-session class, held Tuesdays September 20-November 9, 10:45am – 11:30am, is for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 and their grown-ups. Hosted at Headwaters Music & Arts (519 MN Ave NW, Bemidji) the class includes musical vocabulary, rhythm activities and lots of songs and dancing! The playlist ranges from folk to classical to jazz and even rock. Each session will be taught by Leisa Bragg, Headwaters Music & Arts piano, flute and voice instructor. Her goal is to give children of all ages a lively introduction into many genres and instruments – and to give parents and caregivers the confidence and skills to nurture a life-long love of music in their child.

Leisa has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from University of Northern Colorado with over 30 years teaching music experience with kids and adults of all ages. Her teaching philosophy: “Everyone can be a successful music student!”

$100 per adult/child pair. Additional adult or child $50. Limited financial assistance is available. Space is limited, advance registration is required. Call 218.444.5606 or visit our website to register at HeadwatersMusicAndArts.org.
