LaunchPad and the Northwest Small Business Development Center are partnering to offer quarterly workshops for entrepreneurs interested in learning the basics of how to start a business. These workshops are designed for people with a business idea, those who have recently started a business, or those struggling with their current business. Workshops will be held at the Mayflower Building.
Launch Your Business Workshop – Basic 1.0: April 29th (8:00 am – 10:00 am). This workshop is a great introduction on how to vet your business idea and steps to take to bring it to reality. Learn how to prepare a business plan (both traditional and the one-page Lean Canvas), as well as how to understand your market, employee management considerations and more.
Launch Your Business Workshop – Basic 2.0: May 6th (8:00 am – 10:00 am). The second workshop dives into two vital components of your business, finances and marketing. We will walk through identifying start-up costs, putting together financial projections, exploring financing options, as well as developing successful marketing strategies to reach your customers.
