Mississippi Headwaters Audubon Society Annual Meeting

Come join us at the Neilson Spearhead Center and Preserve* (NSC) for guided hikes, learn about MHAS activities, share a free meal, and hear from local wildlife photographer, Brent Cizek.
Brent took the famous picture of ‘Mama Merganser’ on Lake Bemidji with 56 babies trailing behind her which went viral on social and traditional media. He also was just awarded ‘Honorable Mention’ for his video of a Great Grey Owl in the National Audubon 2021 Photography Competition. Brent will be talking to us about how he goes about taking these remarkable pictures.
