Bemidji State University’s Dr. Dennis Lunt, assistant professor of philosophy, will continue the 2019-2020 Honors Program Lecture Series with a lecture titled “Refusing Care: Conscientious Objection in American Healthcare” in which he will explore medical ethics. The lecture will be held on Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. in the American Indian Resource Center.
In addition to his role at Bemidji State, Lunt also serves on the Sanford Health Bioethics Committee that reviews medical policy, ethics and technology while occasionally conducting patient consultations.
