Join us online for Watermark Art Center’s “Umbrellas of Unity Online Auction”, October 3 through October 12, to bid on beautiful hand painted umbrellas created by area artists! You can view all seventeen umbrellas in person on display in the Kaul Gallery (visible from Bemidji Avenue) or online at watermarkartcenter.org/umbrellas-of-unity/ .
The exhibit “Umbrellas of Unity” is a group show celebrating diversity while encouraging conversations and connections between people. Conceptualized by local Batik artist Mary Therese, visitors are invited to enjoy the space underneath the umbrella exhibit while reflecting on the messages depicted in the colorful images. The exhibit runs through October 22.
The auction begins at noon on October 3 and ends October 12, 2022 precisely at noon. All bids must be submitted online. A credit/debit card is required to bid. The link to the auction will be provided at WatermarkArtCenter.org and through social media outlets. Proceeds from the auction will go to the artists and to support Watermark programming.
