Federal Dam woman injured in crash

A Federal Dam woman was injured on snowy and icy roads on Highway 2 near Bena Wednesday morning.

The state patrol says Jane Topper was heading west in a Chevy Tahoe when she left the roadway and rolled into the ditch.

She was transported to the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center for treatment of what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Deer River EMS assisted at the scene.
