Four arrested after search near Cass Lake

Four were arrested after a drug bust in Cass Lake Monday.

According to a release from the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, they, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and agents with the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force executed a search warrant for illegal drugs just south of Cass Lake.

Officers located heroin, prescription pills, methamphetamine and a large amount of paraphernalia.

Twenty-five-year-old Tyron Turner of Southfield, Michigan and 28-year-old Devaughn Caselberry of Detroit, Michigan were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs.

Thirty-three-year-old Amber Fairbanks of Cass Lake was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs and storing meth in the presence of children, and 21-year-old Steven Whitefeather was arrested for multiple warrants.

Multiple children were placed on holds and removed from the residence.
