Four from Blackduck injured in Friday afternoon crash

Four people from Blackduck were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

The state patrol says they were heading west in a Chevy Suburban on Highway 2 when their vehicle collided with a Ford Focus heading north on Highway 32.

The four Blackduck residents, which included two adult women and two boys aged 7 and 9, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the Crookston hospital.

The Focus driver, an 86-year-old man from Pipestone, was not injured.

The Polk and Red Lake County Sheriff’s Offices, Red Lake Falls Fire, and other first responders and ambulance workers assisted at the scene.
