Four injured in two vehicle crash in Becker County

Winona LaDuke was involved in a car crash Saturday afternoon.

According to a report from the state patrol, the 60-year-old LaDuke from Ponsford was attempting to turn onto Highway 34 in Becker County from a private driveway when her Chevy Suburban struck a westbound Chevy Impala.

The Impala driver, 59-year-old Michael Even of Detroit Lakes, was treated for non-life threatening injuries at St. Mary’s Hospital, as were his three passengers.

LaDuke and her three passengers were uninjured.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, and all were wearing their seat belts.
