Four sentenced for home invasion robbery on Red Lake

Four defendants were sentenced for a home invasion robbery on the Red Lake Reservation.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 30-year-old Alexander Blue, 32-year-old Dustin Jourdain, 22-year-old Shaleigha Strong and 29-year-old Delores Robinson rode to a home in Robinson’s car in October 2019.

Robinson remained in the vehicle while Blue, Jourdain and Strong forced open the door.

Once inside, the three defendants stole a rifle, a shotgun, ammunition, an Xbox and a container of change, then they fled the scene with Robinson.

A minor was present in the house at the time of the robbery.

Jourdain later sold the stolen guns, one of which was recovered during an unrelated drug bust in Bemidji.

Blue, Jourdain and Strong, were sentenced to 66 months, 27 months, and 24 months in prison, respectively.

Robinson pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting burglary and was sentenced to six months.

All four defendants will serve three years of supervised release and were ordered to pay $1,150 in restitution to their victims.
