Crews are currently on Stage 2, Phase 1 of the Highway 71 project expected to last until October.

The project began just over a month ago and MnDOT says it remains on schedule.

Beginning this week, weather permitting, crews will pave the southern and northern project limits, at Highway 197 and Winter Sumac Road.

Crews are also continuing to remove pavement in various areas, construct the roundabout at Anne Street, and widen the shoulders at Winter Sumac.

Project updates are issued weekly and the next meeting is Wednesday at MnDOT headquarters at 10 a.m., with remote options also available.
