Hubbard County crash injures three

Three were injured in a Hubbard County crash Thursday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 20-year-old Branson Heck of Kelliher was northbound on Highway 71 near Jade Rose Drive in Clover Township when he drifted into oncoming traffic and was struck by a southbound Dodge Ram.

The Ram occupants, 26-year-old Joseph Stump of North Carolina and 31-year-old Gary Saunders of Washington state were transported to St. Joseph’s hospital in Park Rapids, as was Heck, for treatment of minor injuries.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
