Hubbard County man injured in crash with semi

A Hubbard County man was injured in a crash with a semi on Highway 64 Tuesday afternoon.

The state patrol says the southbound International crossed over into the northbound lane near mile marker 63, causing the collision.

Fifty-year-old Timothy Johannsen was struck while driving a Ford F-150 in the northbound lane.

He was transported to Sanford Bemidji for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The 36-year-old semi-driver was not injured.

Roads were snowy and icy at the time of the crash. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office and Lake Port Fire assisted at the scene.
