The George W. Neilson Foundation, Bemidji State and Northwest Tech are accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Internship program.
Employers who participate can pay half the wages for their intern from BSU or NTC with the Foundation picking up the other half of the salary cost.
Businesses applying for internship funding must be located in the Bemidji area, preferably within 30 miles of Bemidji, such as Bagley, Blackduck, Cass Lake and Walker.
All nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply directly to the Neilson Foundation.
The application deadline is Jan. 2.
The Neilson Foundation will fund 15 internships, including one specifically for health and nursing and 14 for any other private business pertaining to any major or program offered by BSU or NTC.
