K9 Rip credited with successful traffic stop

Twenty-six grams of powdered fentanyl were taken off the streets after another successful traffic stop involving Beltrami K9 Rip.

Last Wednesday, Deputy Hanson conducted a traffic stop on Highway 71 for an equipment violation.

K9 Rip was ultimately deployed and alerted to the presence of controlled substances in the vehicle.

A male passenger was arrested for an active felony warrant and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.
