The first winner of a $100,000 Minnesota College scholarship was announced. Gov. Tim Walz announced 16-year-old Kaitlyn Knutson of Plymouth was the first winner, with more time to enter for the three remaining vaccine incentive drawings.
The “Kids Deserve a Shot” campaign is targed toward 12 to 17-year-olds who complete their vaccine series. Parents and guardians can enter their fully-vaccinated children for the weekly drawings online.
The deadline to register for a $200 Visa gift card for fully vaccinated 12-to-17-year-olds is tonight at 11:59 p.m.
