Launch of telecommuter incentive program announced

Greater Bemidji is launching a new relocation incentive package for telecommuters.

According to a release, 218 Relocate can offer telecommuters who apply and meet criteria up to $2,500 in reimbursable moving expenses, one year membership to LaunchPad, and teleworking support and tools.

“In Bemidji, you are able to strike the perfect work-life balance,” said Erin Echternach, Assistant Director at Greater Bemidji.

“Our community has all the regional center amenities to support your business and workforce, including Fiber Optic Gigabit Internet, while maintaining the small town beauty and character that makes this place ‘home.'”

“It’s a balance that no other regional center has mastered. This program should entice professionals who telecommute to give Bemidji a deeper consideration and provide us the opportunity to show them why they should live and work here.”

The 218 Relocate launch is also premiering the launch of the Community Concierge Program, with a goal to engage and welcome newcomers to the Bemidji Area.

The George W. Neilson Foundation helped make this launch possible, according to a release.
