Law enforcement scholarships now available

The Minnesota Sheriff’s Association Law Enforcement Scholarship Program is open.

According to a release from the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, the fund from MSA establishes up to 20 $2,000 scholarships for the year, as part of the coordinated efforts of the 87 Sheriffs of Minnesota.

These scholarships are for students attending the peace officer skills course, or one of the two or four-year law enforcement degree colleges.

Awards will be announced by Dec. 28.

Applications are available online and at the Law Enforcement Center.
