Mahnomen man facing criminal sexual conduct charges in Hubbard County

A 32-year-old Mahnomen man is facing two counts of sexual conduct charges in Hubbard County.

According to the criminal complaint obtained this week, Jeremy Bush is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.

The crime reportedly happened last October.

The complaint says the victim was sitting in the living room with her 11-year-old cousin and Bush.

Bush reportedly began groping the victim and the girl repeatedly moved away from him.

The girl reported being afraid to fall asleep that night and woke up with soreness and Bush next to her bed with his hand down her pants.

Bush was located at the Cedar Lakes Casino and was placed under arrest.

Bush is facing first-degree and third-degree criminal sexual conduct charges and had his last court appearance on Jan. 3.

The next hearing is scheduled for later this month.
