Man and woman injured in Hubbard County crash

A man and a woman from Aberdeen, South Dakota were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Hubbard County Monday morning.

According to the state patrol, the Chevy Traverse, driven by 76-year-old Kenneth Simons, left the southbound lane of Highway 71 and ran into some trees just north of Highway 113.

He was transported to St. Joseph’s in Park Rapids, while his passenger, 67-year-old Rosetta Simons, was transported to a Sanford hospital.

North Memorial Air Care and Ambulance, as well as the the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, were listed as assisting agencies.

Both injuries were described as “non-life-threatening.”
