Man armed with assault rifle robs Ogema store

The White Earth Tribal Police Department is asking the public for information on a recent armed robbery in Ogema.

According to a release from White Earth, the robber made off with an undetermined amount of cash Wednesday evening.

Law enforcement responded around 7:22 p.m. to the M&W Convenience Store on the 400 block of 2nd Street in Ogema, on report of a robber with an assault rifle.

The FBI Headwaters Safe Trail Task Force and the U.S. ATF are assisting in the investigation.
