Beginning Wednesday through March 22, Marketplace Foods in Bemidji and other locations will raise funds for children and adults with neuromuscular diseases such as muscular dystrophy.
According to a release, customers will be able to purchase a paper shamrock to be displayed across walls and ceilings of stores in the nation’s largest St. Patrick’s Day-themed fundraiser.
The 40th Annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Shamrocks Fundraiser supports research and care for children and adults living with these types of diseases.
