Montana man treated at Fargo hospital after crash near Shevlin

A Montana man was taken to a Fargo hospital after an alcohol-related crash in Clearwater County Sunday.

Officials say 42-year-old Jake Mapes of Lewistown, Montana, ran a stop sign on County Roads 21 and 23 and drove into the ditch near Shevlin.

His injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
