Gov. Tim Walz held another press conference call Tuesday, which included more pleas for Minnesotans to take COVID-19 seriously.
Among the panel of speakers was former Republican representative Nick Zerwas.
Zerwas said he has significant comorbidities such as a a congenital heart defect and contracted the virus himself.
Zerwas stressed that a pandemic is not an issue to take political sides on.
During the presser, Gov. Walz alluded to an announcement expected today, which may include further restrictions on bars and restaurants, fitness centers and gyms, as well as youth sports.
The announcement will be streamed to the Governor’s YouTube channel at 6 p.m
